Hipobuy Belts Spreadsheet
Compare 16 product links and reference prices, then open Repfind for current options.
Compare usable fit rather than relying on total belt length. Ask how a listing measures its belt, then check the buckle and width against the way you plan to wear it.
QC means product-check photos. An agent is a purchasing or forwarding service; this website does not take payments.

THE PRACTICAL GUIDE
Find the measurement that describes usable belt fit
A belt's total length and its buckle-to-hole measurement answer different questions. Confirm the measuring method before choosing a size.
Measure a belt at the hole you actually use
Hermès recommends measuring an existing belt from the base of the buckle tongue to the hole used most often, or measuring the body where the belt will sit. This explains its own sizing method. For another listing, first confirm whether its number uses a comparable method. Ask for the usable hole range and total length separately instead of assuming that every centimetre label describes the same part of a belt.
Hermès: Belt Size GuideCheck width, buckle and fastening details
Compare belt width with the loops on the trousers you intend to wear, then ask for buckle dimensions if scale matters. Check whether the listing describes a removable buckle, reversible strap or a fixed construction. Ask how any adjustment is meant to work rather than assuming the strap can be shortened. A close-up can help you ask about a fastening, but does not establish leather composition or long-term durability.
Ask about metal parts when sensitivity matters
The American Academy of Dermatology notes that belt buckles can contain nickel, a common contact allergen. If you already know that metal contact is a concern for you, ask about the buckle and other exposed hardware before choosing. A colour description such as silver or gold does not identify the metal. Do not treat a seller's unspecified alloy description, plating colour or product photograph as proof of nickel-free composition.

Check the usable hole range at your intended waist position.
- 03
Compare strap width with your trouser loops and check buckle size.
- 04
Ask about strap material, hardware composition and adjustment method.
QUESTIONS WORTH ASKING
Belts FAQ
Does an 85 cm belt mean the whole belt is 85 cm long?
Not necessarily. Hermès uses a fit measurement associated with the buckle tongue and used hole. Other listings may measure differently, so confirm both usable length and total length.
Can every belt be cut shorter?
Do not assume so. Ask whether its construction allows adjustment, how that works and whether changing the belt affects return options.
Does a silver-coloured buckle tell me what metal it contains?
No. Colour does not establish composition or the absence of nickel. Request specific material information if metal contact is a concern for you.
